GAPLA CONFERENCE AND NEWS
We have a series of online talks, as a rule taking place on the last Wednesday of a month. For talks already held please visit us on Youtube German Australian Pacific Lawyers Association – YouTube.
Our next conference will take place in Vienna on 30 September 2022 and 1 October 2022. The topic of the conference will be:
Art and the Rule of Law
Our speakers will cover issues such as current challenges for Indigenous artists and art, the law relating to NFTs, the Gurlitt case, and a (still reasonably) new initiative to improve access to justice and the rule of law in art disputes, i.e. the Court of Arbitration for Art in The Hague. The presentations will be followed by lively discussions. You can find the conference program here: VIENNA 2022 Conference Program.
Join us for what promises to be a very engaging conference! Registration (for in-person and hybrid participation) is now open via Eventbrite.
We are much looking forward to welcoming you in Vienne or online!
